Was the thing itself.
Not my belief of it,
Nor the love I gave it,
Nor even my name for it.

as it was,
Before it was assessed and addressed, assigned
and assayed for value

Nor do I matter,
Except as myself
Without name or fame or value,
Nor for anything,
beyond to create exactly
whatever silly thing I am compelled to.
